Hi, My husband and I have been trying for over a year now to fall pregnant with our second child with no luck, I put pillows under my butt each time, neither of us drinks, smokes or do drugs. I am taking prenatal vitamins. And we only have sex when we feel like it so its not a chore (on average about 3 times a week) But still no baby. Is it possible that when he pulls out after ejaculating inside me, that hes actually pulling the sperm out not just the semen? Why is it taking so ling to fall pregnant this time round? We fell pregnant with our son while under heaps of stress (moving house, finacial worries and previous house broken in to while we were home) Our family and friends just keep saying "it'll happen when its ment to" but we both are disheartened

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble! Well since you have a baby already, you know that it is not fertality issues. Can I ask how old are you?
I just found I am pregnant 7 weeks along, and I have been off the pill for 3 years trying to get pregnant, and finally a miracle happened. It only takes one time, and last month or when we conceived it wasn't even that often we were having sex!
This is first baby I am having, I was pregnant when I was a teenager, more than once, but terminated the pregnancies. I am so happy and am 32 years old, before I was young and the father was psychotic.
I do take medication, I do smoke I have to quit, so I feel lucky!!! It will happen when it is meant too! My advice to you, and this is what I always did-is to make SURE you have sex WHEN you are ovulating or THE DAY BEFORE OVULATION which is only ONE TIME month. Thats the ONLY TIME you can get pregnant, and you ovulate on the 14th day of your cycle! (Day 1 being 1st day of your period) Use fertility calculators to get the dates right on baby center, and make sure to make an effort to have sex on your most fertile days. you want to make sure you have sperm ready to fertialize your egg in time! Best of luck and keep trying. Have you seen or asked your obgyn about it? Do you orgasm frequently during sex? This may help, I think to carry the sperm back up. And no once he has ejaculated inside of you, the sperm travel to your fallopian tubes, they are very small microscopic they don't come back out, and there are millions of them, you should see or watch video on the sperm's journey to the egg, it's incredible!
