Hi there! Tell me, are you using birth control pills? Starting or stopping birth control pills may cause spotting between periods. Now, some girls may experience some discharge on their panties and others, like you, could find some blood after wiping.

How long has this been going on? Do you have regular intrcourses? Do you use condoms as the most appropriate protection against std’s?
Some of the sexually transmitted disease, especially Chlamydia, won’t cause any symptoms, like excessive discharge or burning, etc but you could be experiencing bloody spotting. So, testing for STD’s would be a smart choice to do if you are sexually active.

If you are not, then I think that you need to see a doctor and have that figured out. Spotting or bleeding without apparent cause is not normal. I am sure that there is a student clinic somewhere in your area that you could turn to, if not, see a doc as soon as you go home for a visit or a holiday.

Other possible causes include formation of uterine and cervical polyps, which are small benign growths that could be causing bleeding and spotting. Cervical dysplasia, which represents presence of abnormal cells on the cervix, beginning of the uterus that need to be extracted, so that they wouldn’t turn into cancerous. The thing is that all these possible causes are more common in women of childbearing age but you never know.

While your spotting and blood on the tissue could be something harmless, it could be something that needs attention, so seeing a gynecologist wouldn’t bee such a bad idea.
