Hi all,
I haven't ran since about the age of 18, when i started to get pain in my feet when running, I am now 30. After about a mile I have to stop and wait at least 5 mins before the pain eases off. The pain feels like a burning pain and comes from the outside of my foot and in the middle of my arch.
I have been to physio's, podiatrists and other specialists, and the most they have been able to come up with is giving me insoles, which haven't helped a lot.
I am otherwise healthy, find no problems on cycling, and the pain is nowhere near as bad on cross trainers. It seems to maybe be something to do with my impact and I maybe very heavy footed.
Has anyone any ideas or trainers I could use or other ways I could start running again?
Thanks
