It's an isopropanol alcohol allergy. So be careful of certain brands of hand sanitizer or not all alcohol-based items have a Isopropanol in them

I donated playlets three days ago and have a rash. Some suggest allergy to anticoagulant or whatever they used to clean the spot. I wonder about what the plasma piggybacked on during return. They said it was saline but I've never been able to taste saline in an IV bebore.hmmm

After donating you're suppose to wash the area when you get home so you don't get a rash - donated yesterday and the nurse told me but clearly I forgot as I ended up with a rash when I woke up.

I got routine blood drawn at my Doctors office and had the red ichey swelling where I had the blood drawn. My muscels on either side of my arm got very sore as the swelling continued. After 5 days I called my Dr office to get a referral to dermatologist, instead they rushed me back in to see my doctor next day. She said I scratched it and caused bacterial infection. She gave me a strong antibiotic used for SEVERE bacterial and drew a circle around the redness. She told me if the redness spread outside that line to go to ER. I am worried now that it is 3 weeks since and I still have it. I don't know what to do now. If it is bacterial seems like the antibiotics would have cleared it up by now.

My arm has been sore ever since I took out blood from it and I can't pick up anything heavy. That was over 6 months ago. What do you think the problem is?
