Make Every Minute of Your Day Count
Time management can be a tricky business for some of us. Different methods work for different people, but one very effective way of managing your time is to block off your day into manageable chunks. Dividing the tasks that you have to do into 30 minute sections is a great way to manage your time. It ensures that you get the main jobs done without leaving you feeling overwhelmed about how you are going to finish them and gives you focus. Remember to plan rest breaks into your day so that your mind remains fresh and you will be more productive.

Choose Exercise That Makes You Feel Good About Yourself
It's important to choose an exercise type that you enjoy and makes you feel good about yourself. If you find that you are reluctantly dragging yourself to the gym every day, then don’t! Think about what exercise you would enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. Would you prefer swimming, jogging or a team sport such as baseball or tennis? Forcing yourself to take part in an exercise that you are not enjoying is counter-productive and eventually, you will stop taking part; which in turn can lead to a sense of failure or self-loathing. Make those changes now to immediately feel better.

Drink Natural Fruit And Vegetable Juices To Give You An Immediate Boost
If you haven't discovered juicing yet, then you are missing out on an excellent and easy way to increase your intake of fruit and vegetables whilst boosting your health at the same time. Almost any vegetable or fruit can be juiced to make a highly nutritious and tasty drink. Avoid fruit juices from concentrate that you can pick up at the store as they have been processed and have fewer nutrients than fresh juice. The best way is to buy a juicer and create your own juices. The juices that you can create at home are limited only by your imagination.

Take Time Out To Eat When You're Hungry
Eating when you're hungry will help you to function more efficiently throughout the day. Take time to eat mindfully – this means focusing on your meal and each mouthful and not eating while you’re checking emails, watching TV or playing solitaire at your desk. If you wait until you have gone beyond hunger before eating, you are more likely to overeat which will lead to feeling bloated and health problems including indigestion. Use mealtimes as a reason to take a break during your day and leave your workplace or desk behind. It’s also a good opportunity to socialize with friends, family or colleagues.

Have At Least One "Healthy Eating Day" Every Week
There's no need to wait for National Eating Healthy Day to eat well. Even if you generally follow quite a healthy diet, having a dedicated “healthy eating day” will boost your mood and immune system. If you tend to live on junk food then this is an opportunity to make some small changes to improve your health. Changes don’t need to be drastic; swap white bread for wholegrain, white rice for brown and nuts instead of candy. Grill lean proteins like chicken instead of having a burger and cheese. Bananas will prevent a mid-afternoon slump and fruits like berries, apples and grapes will help to keep you hydrated.

Practise Daily Positive Conditioning To Improve Your Self-Esteem
Learn to love yourself and you will feel better instantly. You're probably used to giving positive reinforcement and compliments to your kids or other family members and have seen how this improves their self-esteem. Use this technique on yourself to give you an instant lift. Practicing positive affirmations to yourself might seem a bit awkward at first, but as you learn to accept them they will become easier. Affirmations can be made about all areas of your life that you want to focus on. Some examples are: “I believe in myself,” and “I am my own unique self - special, creative and wonderful.” When you start to believe in yourself, others will also and you will feel good about yourself.

Remember to Drink Enough Water
Lack of water can make you feel sluggish as well as cause other health problems such as urinary tract infections or kidney problems. It's important not to wait until you are feeling thirsty to drink., maintain a regular intake throughout the day and aim to drink a minimum of 1 liter. An easy way to reach this target is to fill a liter sports bottle each morning and drink it every day. Try not to mix it with cordials as they can be extremely high in sugar and other additives. Ensuring that you get your daily quota will leave you feeling revitalized and your skin looking fresher!

Plan And Register Your Progress
When we have an insurmountable mountain of tasks to complete it is easy to lose focus and become disillusioned. Planning and registering your progress will help you to see what you have achieved so far; remember to plan your goals and then break them down into small manageable tasks. As you complete a task, tick it off your list and you will see that you are making progress even if the end goal is still far away. As well as giving you a sense of achievement, this will motivate you to stick to your plans and carry you towards reaching the end goal.

Start Paying Attention To Yourself
Taking time out to pay attention to yourself will give you an immediate lift! The pressures of everyday life leave us feeling worn out so take some time and think about yourself for a change. This could be as simple as visiting a salon for a trim or reading a magazine. Alternatively, indulge in a massage or relaxing bath with soothing candles and skin conditioning foaming bubbles. Small changes like these apply to both men and women and you will start to reap the benefits straight away; not only will you feel better but you will look good too. If funds won't allow a visit to the salon then spend a night in with your nearest and dearest and massage each other.
