hi
about 2 months ago i was having normal periods that started around the 13th of every month and lasted 3 to 5 days. but after having unprotected sex with my bf, last months period came 2 weeks after having that period. ( now my periods are starting around 1st to 3rd of every month) but i had orange blood then it went to spotting then clots with little blood and this lasted about 2 weeks. between my periods i have had shooting pains in my vagina which is constant for about half hour it not too painful that i cant stand the pain it just very uncomfortable and unable to move. this period that has just started this month also dosent feel normal i am clotting (they arent too big) but with little blood again but for the last two months my stomach feels bloated and i also feel very tired all the time and sick feelings that quickly come and go at any time of the day.
i had tests done at the doctors for infectins and pregnancy last month and they all came back normal.
but i am still abit worried! is this normal?! %-)

Hello 89kelly89. Changes in your period can happen at all times in your life, especially when under stress. Have you been worrying about the unprotected sex and possibility of pregnancy? If so, that right there can cause irregularities in your period because so much of a women's system is contrived by hormones and emotions. Negative emotions can upset your body's system and cause all kinds of changes.
If you are still concerned with the symptoms and they are not going away, you should consider going back to the doctor for another exam. This will at least put your mind at ease. Keep track of the irregularities and dates of your last period to be able to give the physician. Best of luck to you.

Hi:
Get back to the doctor and let them do another test. Have you had other female problems before? Your body seems to be responding to something. Do you take any type of birth control methods that are chemical. They can cause irregularities with bleeding. Could you have had a miscarriage. Have that discussion with your doctor too. Don't wait however, this sounds like there is a problem. Depending on your age also, you could be experiencing what is called pre-menopausal symptoms. These seem to occur in most women around the late 30s (age). Then things calm down and actual menopause begins around the age of 52. Check that out too. I know that you will get answers. These are abnormal occurrances, but not uncommon. Let us know how things go for you.
