"Ethnic specific Midlife women's Attitudes toward Physical Activity (emapa)," and is funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH). We are looking at attitudes of American midlife women (ages 40-60) from 4 ethnic groups (Hispanic, White, African, and Asian) towards physical activity while considering the relationships between their attitudes and their actual participation in physical activity within ethnic-specific contexts of their daily lives. This study will contribute to reducing health disparities by directing the development of physical activity promotion programs that can serve ethnic minority midlife women through the internet.

There you can participate in our online survey by clicking on the "survey". The survey will begin by asking you a series of eligibility questions. If the study has filled our sampling quota for an individual with your characteristics (meaning socioeconomic background and ethnicity) then you will receive a kind message stating so. Upon completion of the survey, you will be invited to join the optional online forum discussion. Sorry, but we are unable to translate the survey into any other language except English, hopefully this does not discourage you.
You can also help our research by announcing it to your organization, family, and friends. Remember that by helping us increase our data pool, you are also helping healthcare professionals increase awareness of the importance of women's opinions and experiences.

Upon full completion of the online survey, you will receive an email asking for your shipping address so we can mail you a $10 gift card as a thank you reward. Upon full completion of the optional online forum discussion, you will receive a $50 gift card.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any more questions about our study. Thank you so much for considering this study and have a great day.
