9 days later, I am still spotting brownish discharge

I was supposed to start my period on December 22nd, and I'm usually 2-3 days later than predicted date every month. This month I started spotting brownish discharge on the 23rd, I thought maybe it was just my period starting, now.. 9 days later, I am still spotting brownish discharge. Could this possibly be a sign of an STD?
