I have a very addictive personality and I love to set goals. So saying that I have only been running for 10 days now and my last 2 runs the front part of my legs below my knee has been murder on me, my left side of my lower back also. Last night I set a goal of 2 miles and I had to walk the last half mile. I could barely make it home the pain was so bad in my lower back and legs and they were tight and burning. I hope I may be over doing it is all???? I have truly have found a new love with running. Im 36 years old 5'10 240lbs and have never ran a day in my life, I'm overweight and want to be healthy for my 3 kids and wife. June 1st I ran 1.5 miles my first night, June 3rd 1.02 in 14 min, June 5th morning 1.16 that night 1.65, June 7th 3.02, June 9th 2.04, June 11th 1.75, Any advise would help I'm doing 13 min miles.
