Recently had an apico about 3 weeks ago. Right before the doctor stitched me up she took an xray. There was the usual amalgam dot at the end of the root, but then there was also a stray piece of amalgam that showed up in the xray just kinda floating around. I asked her what that extra small dot was and she said it's just almalgam and stitched me up. Didn't seem to care too much about it so I didn't push. Is there anything bad about having this stray amalgam in there? WIll it cause any symptoms?
