Hi, I need some help with meds I am not familiar with. My mother has a follicular lymphoma cancer and now she is undergoing chemotherapy. Unfortunately, I have some friends that had the same problem so I know a bit about the drugs used. Anyway, my mother has AME-133v administrated in combination with a standard treatment. What is it for?
I think it is some new medication that showed some effectiveness in dealing with this type of the cancer. It is still in the experimental phase so I guess that they had to have your mother’s approval for this. Anyway, as I have heard, supposedly that UAB study proved that AME-133v should be used regularly with chemotherapy. I guess that is good news.
