Hi, My partner has been on amoxycillin trihydrate following a bad flu and mouth ulcers he finished taking them on friday and on saturday after an exhausting day skiing he went out drinking and also had a nodoz tablet to help with the tiredness. He was fine all night and when we first got home but after sleeping for an hour he woke up vomiting and not knowing where he was or what had happened. I know the sounds like just alcohol poisoning but i think it could have been something more sinister as he has been sick from alcohol before and not felt this bad. Any ideas on why this happened? Could this happen because of mixing alcohol and antibiotics?  this time and whether it was the drugs that affected him so baddly?
