anal irritation savlon side effect ??

I had a mild constipation and applied Savlon Antiseptic cream twice lubricating the anus area. Later during the week a sharp pain and uptight feeling was experienced. Touching the anus area I felt the end of a vain and swell going from it upwards inside the anus. I read that one of the ingrediant of Salvlon Antiseptic Cream has this side effect and makes the vein to swell . I tried Anusol cream to help to ease off this swell and irritaion but it has got worse.
Any help please
