Hello! I am 36 year-old male. I started weight lifting a year ago, and for the last 6 months I have been experiencing strange headaches during some exercises. At first I thought I was tripping but this trend continued and now I sometimes even feel anxious when going to the gym. Could it be that weightlifting is causing my headaches? How could this be?

Hello! I read once in a magazine that this is actually possible for some sports to cause headaches. As far as I can remember these sports are running, jogging, weight training, aerobic exercise class, and rugby football. Maybe, this is your case as well. Maybe it would be best if you visited a doctor and se if the problem can be solved, he may help you continue with your activities or help you chose a more suiting one.

check your hormone levels. might be imbalanced. find a compounding pharmacy near your area and ask them for a recommendation of a doctor which would prescribe bio-identical hormone. these doctors are good with treating chronic and non-disease symptoms. good luck. i read somewhere in many hormone doctor books that they are very good at curing migraines. (possibly due to nutrition issue, too much fluid build up in the brain. the pressure gives you headache) when you exercise your body produces certain hormone i think it is cortisol. it can make you sick if it is imbalanced.
