Sure, some people experience unusual body odor because they don't shower or use soap... but that can't be the only possible culprit. There's got to be a better answer out there. I am 25 years old, and I don't have such awful armpit odor that it interferes with my daily life, but my armpits have a "funny smell", and at the end of a long day it can sometimes become noticeable. I'm a healthy person. I'm a vegetarian, I don't eat a lot of processed or fatty foods, I work out daily at the gym (and yes, I shower afterwards, and yes, I use soap). I wear unscented deodorant. But still, sometimes on a warm day I have to keep my jacket on because I don't want the smell to be noticed. The other day, I was IN the shower, I had just washed my armpits, and my boyfriend smelled them and told me that he could still smell my characteristic "armit" smell. Please don't tell me that I don't know how to use soap. What else can cause that odor??

your armpit smell is due to the bacteria, not the body sweat or the soap. Although you've been using deodorants, soap and taking showers everyday, the odours still linger somewhat because you can't always completely wash off all of it. The odour that is present is almost like stains on your shirt even with so much washing are stubborn to get off. By eliminating the bacteria from the start then can you have odour free armpit. Truly UARMSOL deodorant is one of the best deodorant, because it will prevent bacteria growth even due to sweat, you won't have any more odours even after that showering or after sport. All you need to do is apply 1 pinch per day is all you need. Take care!

Did you find out your problem because my 18 year old has been having the same problem for two years now and we have been to various doctors to no avail. Tried all kinds of prescription deo and over the counter clinical deo and nothing works. She got up this morning after showering yesterday evening and getting in the hot tub and the one armpit smelled horrible! Never smelled like this odor before. The sweating has occurred only under the one arm but it has never smelled until the last two months. She also has a large lump in the same side breast that has just appeared.

I have a simple solution that I started just a couple of months ago. Use baking soda - it's very inexpensive and it works. It lasts at least 24 hours and sometimes longer than that. I put the whole contents in a plastic container that has a lid. I use my thumb, index finger and middle finger to pick up the powder, then gently rub it in my armpits over the sink. You have nothing to lose by trying this method, and it doesn't harm your body.

I too have dealt with smelly armpits and having to go through several deodorants both natural and not-natural... After maaaany attempts, I have found something that works for me: Tea tree oil, Jojoba oil and Tom's unscented deodorant. After showering, I dry my armpits, and rub together a couple of drops of jojoba oil* and a quarter sized amount of tea tree oil in my palms and apply it to my armpits. If you haven't used it before, tea tree oil will have a very strong scent, and will most likely have a tingling sensation. Please start with small amounts. Because of the strong scent, I finish by applying Tom's unscented deodorant and that usually does a good job of toning the scent down. To some this may be less convenient than your conventional deodorant, but I like it because 1) it actually works by killing the bacteria 2) I don't mind the scent of tea tree oil 3) it's almost 100% natural! *Jojoba oil is a carrier oil, and since Tea tree oil is an essential oil, it is not recommended to apply essential oils directly to your skin as it may be damaging. Because I am applying tea tree oil to my armpits, I have a very tiny ratio of jojoba oil to tea tree oil. However, If I were applying it to my face, the ratio would be opposite (quarter sized amount of jojoba to a couple of drops of tea tree oil).

I would choose Lavilin over all the other natural deodorants I have tried. It actually works just as they say - up to 1 week after an application! Doesn't matter what I do that week or how active I am, my armpits are consistently odorless week in and week out! Amazing product, look for it on Amazon.
