Hello! I suffer from GAD, and have persistent worries about everything possible. This is really affecting my life in a negative way, and the doc prescribed me aropax. I am posting this in order to meet people who have used aropax, so that I can learn more about the effects of this drug. Thank you for sharing your experience with me!

Hi! I have been on aropax for my panic attacks for a year. It did me good but I gained a lot of weight. I tried to lose some but it was impossible. That is why I decided to get off the drug but am now experiencing some withdrawal symptoms like dizziness, feelings of anxiety, extreme tiredness at some points and then not being able to sleep at other. Some people told me why behavior has changed while being on the drug, but I haven’t noticed

Hi There,

I have been a long-term user on Aropax after trying lots of Anti-Depressants for my Anxiety etc.
I personally think its a very strong drug and extremely hard to get off.
PLEASE get medical help if you want to withdraw from it because its horrible.
Im withdrawing from it now because Im 2months pregnant and Im going through HELL!.
Nausea, Mood Swings, Head Spins...Its Nasty!
I know its bad to say but I dont recomend it and dont listen to the doctors when they say you cant get addicted etc.
Hope I've helped Somewhat..

i took aropax in mid- last year after a few years of anxiety and depression (I am 21 now) and it was the first significant improvement since I had first gotten treatment a year earlier. I took it for about six months, and along with other treatment and also self-help I had had a great semester and decided to try without it. I had been taking it every other day or so and not being too careful (this didn't seem to be a problem) as I knew that I wanted to be without the drug sometime soon. Anyway I got off it pretty soon although there were definite side-effects (I remember nightmares, dizziness, etc... I don't think that this was particularly bad) Now that another semester has gone past, I am back on the drug as I had become severely anxoius and depressed over time. I don't feel that the effect of the drug is quite the same as it was previously... although it has benefitted me, I am still suffering problems which i did not encounter last time I was using it.

Aropax gave me horrific nightmares and increased my depression to the point of utter uselessness ! I became a "zombie " unable to laugh or appreciate anything or anyone . Life became surreal and meaningless . And had terrible withdrawals when coming off of it . I am now on pristq . I totally recommend speaking to your doctor about it! It has levelled me out to the point where I no longer feel anxiety or nervous or down unless it's for a good reason . I'm in tune with my feelings but in a healthy and realistic way . I have never posted before but really feel the need to share as it literally saved my life
