I had a total abdominal hysterectomy on 12/22/08, about 6 days later I started to get bad upper back pain on my left side. A few days later I started experiencing pain on my whole left side from my shoulder down to my ankle and my lower back pain gets so bad that I can barely walk. I went to see my doctor and he said that sometimes when you have surgery your body is very limp and the muscles get bruised and that's why they hurt. I started physical therapy last week. Has anyone experience back pain.
