I had a full body rash soon after starting Bactrim. It lasted several days and wasn’t that itchy though I would scratch it anyway. Is it an allergy on Bactrim? Has anyone else experienced allergic reaction on Bactrim?
A friend of mine had an allergy to Bactrim. It is like penicillin, it's a bad drug to have an allergy to. His was the itch. What happened to him was that that after a time of being off ,his body was reintroduced with very small doses, baby doses of Bactrim, then introduced a full dose and he's fine now.
