It is not dangerous for you but can have serious consequences on your unborn baby. if you've had the cat with you for a long time, it is quite possible that you've already got the infection and are now immune to it, so in that case, you don't have to worry. to be on the safe side don't clean the cat litter yourself and even if you have to, wear gloves and then wash your hands well afterwards.
