lately ive been really getting into picking my bellybutton and ive come to notice a terrible stank no matter how much i pick it the stank just does not seem to go away. can anyone offer some advice on how to get said stank off?

For myself this has happen on occasion. I asked my doctor once and she said the belly button is a closed area where it's warm and moist in there and bacteria is trapped in there along with oil, that don't ever get fresh air, and can get an overgrowth of bacteria or thrush. This would explain the foul smelling.-Also another important tip for those whose belly buttons are clean but smell bad and the skin is red. Use a wash that is for sensitive skin (you can also use femine wash). The most common reason why belly buttons smell is that when you wash with bar soap and do not rinse well your skin becomes dry and irritated. Hope this helps
