I have finally decided to change my life, as much as possible, in all ways. But first, I wish to improve my health and overall physical shape. This means that I am starting with exercises asap, I am just not sure what to start with. What is the best way to stimulate muscles in training process known as progressive resistance?

Progressive resistance is all about gradual increase of the applied strain. This could be done in several ways. For example, in weight lifting, weight should be increased and/or this could be done with the number of reps. This also goes for the time spent under the weight. These three variations could be combined, try to see what is the best combo for you.
