I just started taking Biaxin XL. I was just wondering has anyone here taken this antibiotic and had side effects of dizziness, nausea and anxiety? If so how long does this last? My dosage is 2 500mg once a day.
I remember severe nausea side effects when taking Biaxin XL and dizziness is described as a common side effect. Make sure you have something to eat before taking the pills and then wash down with a glass of milk. See if that improves things.

Yes, my family doctor actually told me bad taste in mouth is a side effect. But he didn't mention about dizziness though. Man, I took the med right after lunch and I am so tired and dizzy I could really goto sleep now, if only my supervisor was sitting directly behind me..... :-P
I too, have a bad taste in my mouth, I was just wondering if I take this medication and do not have a respiratory infection , what would be the side effects?
I started taking it, my doctor told me nausea is a side effetc because it is hard on the digestive system, also the bad taste is a current unfortunate side effect. I take it whil eating and I still have nausea and a sentitve tummy.
