Bleeding 1 week before period is due, but pregnancy test is negative

I can understand the frustration and disappoint of getting a negative test when you are TTC. Periods can start few days early it’s totally normal and if they start before or after their due date they can be dark or brownish. I am sorry to say that if your periods have started already, your chances of being pregnant are very low. If your think that yours bleeding stopped early or was only for 1-2 days and very light bleeding you can try to do pregnancy test gain after few days. OK. I'm 19, and had a little light bleeding yesterday. My period is due next week. I took a test, it came out negative. What should I do?

I'm trying for my first baby. We had intercourse for a full month without using any precaution, and home pregnancy test is negative, but period is due in the next few days. Should we try again?
