Bleeding 7 years after Hysterectomy

PLEASE let me know what you find out... I had a hysterectomy 30 years ago with cervix out but ovaries left. Just started having severe low back pain and pain in low left ovary area thinking I had a UTI so seen my GP July 7th. Had an abdomen CT and found 2mm cyst but says NOT related or would not cause bleeding.
I am like you on my 4th antibiotic since and when on them I didn't bleed or have the 'goop' which the first Gyno said LOOKED like it was coming from my rectum... Like I can't tell?? This time I am on my 6th day of antibiotic and STILL have 'goop' and dark blood spotting! She wants to put me on Estrogen but my GP says with my history of clotting it's NOT a good idea?!?!
I am at a loss, in pain, frustrated, have lost 20 lbs because of nausea and feeling weak. I just wish they would TAKE my ovaries at 63 they aren't much use to me anyway :(

Hi I had a full hysterectomy 15 years ago and now I am having bleeding after intercourse. It scares me. Is it nothing??to worry about??. A scratch etc.

I had Total hysterectomy in 1991. I was 31. The Dr left a Penrose drain in me vaginally and know one told me. I found it 15 days after I got out of hospital. 2 years later,3 major bowel obstructions, I lost all large intestine except 6 inches. I am now having bleeding when i pee. I see Dr. This week. I have had 2 rectal prolapses, 3 bladder surgeries. I have chronic pain. Now blood when I pee, what is wrong.

Hello there,
I am experiencing the same things as you were. I have had Kidney stones and a bleeding ovarian cyst for the past month, it has been painful along with lots of nausea vomiting bloating in abdomen. Today I experienced vaginal bleeding. I am 8 years post hysterectomy with no uterus or cervix. I am finally going to see gynaecologist today. I am concerned. I have been referred to a urologist.
Did you ever find out why you had blood? Did]] the blood come from Vagina? what was the out come of your story? Thannks

Hello I had a complete hysterectomy over a year ago and today I started cramping really bad and when I went to the bathroom there was blood on the toilet paper.

I had a subtotal hysterectomy I have my cervix as it’s frozen anyway I had it done nearly 4 years ago and I’ve been bleeding on and off for about 6 months and I’ve not been to the drs as I’m very scared as my nan died 16 months ago from cancer and I’ve got a disability and disabled can anyone give me some advise please

Just reading over these posts as I to have had pain after my hysterectomy 10 years ago, as you I have lost alot of weight down to 98.8 pounds now cause ive been sick and unable to keep anything down, finally made a dr apt to see whats going on, I just havent heard anyone with loosing that much weight as I have after Hyster, all day I have been heavy brown discharge and kinda scared

Hi there, many of your symptoms match mine from many years ago when I suffered crippling Endometriosis. The blood, colour, back pain, blood after sex etc. I also had a 3cm cyst removed at the same time that they treated my Endo. I hope you see this reply even though it's over a year later. Good Luck.

It has been 26 years since my total hysterectomy and 24 since ovaries removed all because of cysts. In the last year I have had numerous instances of vaginal bleeding. Am on many meds, diabetic and have many medical issues. I have also had cysts removed from many parts of my body. Could this bleeding be caused by cysts? I have been celibate for several years.

That is what I am worrying about In 1994 my uterus was move I do not no about the cervix I seen my doctor she have no Idea where the bleeding is coming from. My surgery is 24 years old. Sometimes it is heavy. I do not understand why there is no research on why women are bleeding after there uterus are removed.

I’m having this same issue and my hysterectomy was 10 years ago the cramping is so intense to the point I’m so nauseous and horrible headache. I’ve been struggling with the after effects of a car accident back in 2019. Back fusion in June 2020 and since no success I’ve been have epidural steroid injections as for the other issues of hurting I’m very miserable and worried any advice anyone please?
