bleeding and clotting during first trimester

I am 6 weeks pregnant confirmed by ultrasound last week. Had sex yesterday and a few hours later had light spotting. I woke up this morning with little blood and two pretty big clots. I am not really having any pain at all and the bleeding is only there barely when i wipe. Expecting the worst but praying to God for the best. Im 38 years old and have tried to get pregnant for a long time. I am pretty sure that i have miscarried. I have us appt in a few hours. Just wanted to share my story as i have been reading online all morning. Best of luck to everyone.

I'm 5 weeks but yesterday I started to lightly bleed pink wartery then went dark and heaven and now some clots I took a test and it came back negitive I was desestated me and my wife was but I still feal bloated and my boobs are still saw I don't no what to think I went to the hoaptial and they have bookd me in to see the woman's health on Monday for a cheak over but now I'm thinkin is there any point as I'm bleeding so in my mind I'm thinkin iv lost my baby :( has any1 els had the same thank you for reading

I have to kids and 5 wks pregnant with third my second child I got my period the whole way thru my pregnancy I didn't find out till 35wks but I'd say always go to ur midwives it is scary when u bleed thru pregnancy but always get checked this time I'm doing same as what I did with my second one

Like most of the comments I have read, I too am experiencing similar signs during my first trimester.  It started 5 days ago as a brown discharge and has slowly changed to some small blood clotting with red and brown spotting.  Iám 6 weeks pregnant today and have been so worried and down about miscarrying that it has rubbed off on my husband & 12 year old daughter (who are both super excited about the pregnancy).  I have decided that I'm going to stay positive until I have heard from the doctor direct that there is something wrong (or not).  If this wonderful blessing is meant to be, it will happen otherwise I will leave it in God's hands.  I have read that these symptoms are normal for alot of pregnant women that go on to have happy and healthy children and that is what I hope for all of you (and myself) :)

Same is happening to me at this moment, and you are right I did not know how much I wanted this baby until now, I feel your pain and like you I have been crying and praying the my baby to make it. Good luck and I hope that in a few months you are holding your bundle of joy!!

Dont blame your past abortions, you have to forgive yourself for that. were you really pregnant? if so congrats

Your situation and mine is very similar. Cry a lot I don't want to loose this baby even though I never plans 4 it. I have come to love it so much. And I hv also had one abortion in the past

I'm on my way to the UCSD ER right now. I went to bathroom cause I had to go and drop a deuce basically. Well I did. Was about to wipe and looked down and saw a bright red little clot about the size of a nickel fall and toilet water was all red! I panicked. I wiped back to see if it was anal but it wasn't. I wiped with a new toilet paper on vaginal area and there was blood. Bright red. I got scared and started crying. I'm 12 weeks 3 days...almost in my 2nd trimester. I lost my last pregnancy last year...I can't go through this again...

I found out on monday i am pregnant i started off with lite blood now a few clots and a little cramp could i still be pregnant

I too have pcos. Im 8 week 6 day.started 2 days ago with brown discharge that got darker and have now passed 2 large clots and 4 small. I have mild pain like a dull ache. Booked in for a scan this afternoon. Bleeding is not alot at all. What happened with you.. your experience sound's very similar to mine. Was wondering what happened?

Hey I'm 12 weeks and 6 days today and I had bleeding at 8 weeks but I'm bleeding again now but the difference is that I'm noticing clots . Two big ones so far , kinda nervous on what's going

According to my LMP I am like 4 weeks pregnant, I started bleeding Saturday morning, ended up in the hospital Saturday night due to bleeding heavier and having clots... they did an us and they told me it was to early to tell anything ... my hcg level was 51 and today I have to get it repeat it ... but i am hoping everything is gonna be fine ... thanks for sharing ur story cause it just gave me some hope ....
