Hi im from malaysia. and my problem quite similar to yours. as far as i remember, today was 18th december 2014. And my period didnt stop from 10th of july 2014. It makes about 5months my period still on. sometimes it came out like fresh blood. And sometimes dark brown. my age 22 years old. Single. havent make any sexual contact. When i go to local hospital, it takes weeks for an appointment. Then the doctor says, I need to lose weight. and she gave me pills to stop bleeding plus she gave me hormone pills. Here's some view from me, My period wont stop because of unbalance hormone. and to balance it, i have to lose weight. but i CAN'T simply take pills, shakes, or any supplement for lose some weight because the supplement wont work to my body because of unbalance hormone. there is a hormone from a women to lose fat. And the hormone wont work if you on period. but when i hit the gym, the blood become a lot. It makes my face look pale. i tried to cut off oily fried food for 3 months. i lose some weight. But my period still the same. i get from many reliable source from pharmacies, clinics, and some doctors, The pills that i get from the hospital is dangerous for me. It can cause huge problem such as gaining more weight and many problem.. And now, i am in huge life dilemma. whether i have to go the same hospital to continue my appointment or just let it be. i have pray so hard to keep harmful disease away from me. Untill this moment, i wish i can be normal girl like other girls... :(

Ok I have been and am now again in the same boat as all of you. I was put on birth control for a year the first time, but my doctor believed it was my thyroid causing the mayhem. Once my thyroid was under control with the right dosage of medication I was regular until recently when my thyroid readings were low again, now I've been bleeding for 6 weeks and my doctor is increasing my medication trying to stabalize my thyroid again. I was checked for fibroids and polyps but everything was normal, thyroid has been the key for me.

It seems a though no one knows what is actually causing this issue occuring but I would like to share my experience. When I was sixteen years old going on seventeen, I missed my period due date for four months. I was quite concerned and worried thinking that I got pregnant because within that year, I had my first protected sex (just a one time thing) with a guy. I was afraid that the condom had ripped hence why I wasn't having my period at all. I went to see my primary doctor and she told me I needed to get an ultrasound when she found out I was being sexually active. Yadda yadda, went to get an ultrasound whatnot and found out I was not pregnant at all and that my ovaries were perfectly healthy. The real reason for me not having a period is because I was overweight for my height. I was told I needed to lose weight in order to go back on my period cycle. Unfortunately, I was too stubborn to listen that I ended up going to the doctor's again and she prescribed me some pills to take. I have forgotten the name but it started with Meta something. That took a toll and I was having my period non-stop. Ladies/Girls, do not take any medicine nor pills, it will mess up our period cycle even more. I decided to stay off the pills and started excerising. I'm now 22 turning 23 soon and my period cycle is normal now. I was sick of having my on-going period for 2 years and ever since I started working out and maintaining my health, it's been good since then. So if you're overweight or obese and your period is being irregular or on-going, etc... Have some exercising routine in your lifestyle, 30 minutes to an hour in our life is nothing, it will help, trust me!

Read this and i have been on my period 6 wks.mydoctor thought it would stop and since it didnt he ordered a pap followed by an untrasound a week later then they call a d und say i have a cyst.gave it a week to see if it would be gone.nope dr prescribed me nonethindrone to stop my period..it worked on my firdt miscarriage last yr.but not this time.dr sd i couldv had another miscarriage however it could possibly be polyp that resulted in it so im still on the prescription for 2more days out of 10( nonethindrone)& theybtold me if it doesnt stop they will hv to scrape me.which is very common procedure after miscarriages in most women..talk to another obgyn and mk sure they tk blood work.pap.n untrsound.u may hv fibroids or polyps.non harmles and non cancerous.but can develop anemia.in which severe anemia can result in having a trasfusion.take care

Hello ladies, ok so I have been bleeding since mid august till present. I've had days where my pad is clear n then all of a sudden it's so heavy. Sometimes it's just an hourly thing. I get big blood clots which i feel as i need to "push" out. It's really frustrating not just for me but also my hubby.
I'm 32 n no children. I really want children but this situation is just taking over my life.
I don't know what to do. All my smear test reports are normal. I'm already anemic, but aside from that no other issues.
Any ideas of what this may be?
Thank you in advance

Hey I'm 22 yrs old and have been on my period for 32 days now. My entire period has been light. One or 2 days it'll get slightly heavier but never filled up a pad and I've been kinda too dry to use a tampon.. my periods have always had their own schedule. Sometimes my period were the normal 3-7 days and others 7-14 days. I'd skip some months too in my teen years. Past 2 years they've been more normal than not but since my dad died almost 5 months ago, its been odder than ever.. 3 weeks full blown period, then one regular, then i had no period for 2 months, now on for 32days. Oh and i have an 11 month old son and my husband and I had tried for months to get pregnant with our son then finally did. Anyone know what this could be?

try to stop the bleeding by drinking lemon grass tea or coconut juice/ this will lessen your bleeding then after that you can consult your doctor for additional treatment/
