I have been bleeding heavy for 7 weeks straight. I went to the health department and they sent me for a vaginal ultrasound and it showed that I had a small fibroid. They now want me to see you going to a gynecologist end talk to them about getting hysterectomy

What you described sounds like what I have: endometriosis and PCOS. Specifically, most of my endo is on my ovaries and very near them. So near them that removal of my endo deposits is not possible without removal of my ovaries. I tried lots of other treatments with no succes. I'm having a total hysterectomy.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why we have warning labels. Maybe some people take it because they don't want children or to regulate their periods? What would you recommend? Condoms (that break), the pull out method (that you may not get out in time), or abstaining all together? Not taking birth control could cause unplanned pregnancies.....As a mom of a 10 year old and a 3 year old I'll gladly take the bloating and decreased sex drive.

I am a 44year old woman who has had my period from the 28th of December 2016 to the 15 February 2017. I am really scared now because The bleeding seems like it is going to stop and then in a few hours it is extremely heavy with huge clots being discharged. I can use a pad up in under an hour and have to change over 3 or 4 times What do I do as I told my doctor that I am bleeding quite heavily but I have not been advised on what to do. I am experiencing fatigue and dizziness.

I would eliminate all processed sugar and soy ,unless fermented from my diet, drink fresh squeezed orange juice in morning(which helps in replacing blood) and go see a good gynecologist. Go to someone who has hundreds of reviews with 5 star ratings, preferably a women. If you can locate one with an ultrasound machine in office even better.( I mentioned the orange juice bevause I was threeatened with a blood transfusion when I was pregnant and all I dis waa squeeze fresh orange juice every day after told.) My doctors were shocked at the dramatic difference in my follow up blood work!

Hey girl I've totally had this happen too. It's just your eggs releasing. It's showing that you aren't pregnant.

I am 34 now and still on the pill and have had my tubes tied. The same thing happened to me when I was 14. My iron level dropped all the way to 2.3 I was almost dead. Had several 8 hour iron injections at the cancer lab. Finally the figured out what was wrongdoing with me and it was a VERY rare blood disorder called Vonwillisbrands disease. I also had to have a transfusion. When I got pregnant at 22 it managed to correct itself with the extra blood you have while pregnant
