I'm curious how you are vegan as well as low-carb and all the other things you are implementing. I, too, am a vegan (about 10 months now), and I suffer from incredible stomach bloting all day long. I'm not talking about bloating in my intestines, I'm talking about my actual stomach. As soon as I eat, it blows up and I look like I"m very pregnant. It's awful. I would really like to make it go away without medication, but rather diet alone. Would you share with me the foods you eat in a day? ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed*** Please read our Terms of Use

They told me to put a lemon wedge in my water half hour before i eat any meals and this helps to start your digestive juices flowing before you eat so it can digest better. Also eat probiotic yogurt 3 times a day for a few weeks then cut down to one a day. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***

I have had my gallbladder removed for 2 years now, and I still have the bloating/pain after I eat. I take Librax 3 times daily before meals and 40 mg of Nexium. My first gastro visit, he performed EGD and his findings were that I had mild gastritis. NONE of these symptoms have anything to do with nicotine.

Research Candida Albicans overgrowth in gut and you will learn that this is the culprit and how to cure yourself. Beware that western society doctors do not accept this and that is why they haven't told you about it. You can find all of the information on the internet and at your local whole foods store where you can speak with an nutritionist.

Oh man, I've had similar issues. Almost exactly the same actually. I also did most of those tests and cause I'm a young (30) "healthy" non smoking vegetarian they dismissed me. I could barely eat anything for 3 months queasy every day to the point of anxiety attacks it was utter hell.
No one could tell me what was wrong! So I did my own research carefully watched my symptoms then finally went to the emergency & insisted they check me for stones and they rolled their eyes at me but then DID end up finding 2 small stones in my kidneys.
I was also pretty constipated and am pretty sure I have issues with candida overgrowth in my gut. In the end I treated myself and got better over time, but I still have flare ups if I eat too much junk.
Prior to it getting really bad i had tried boosting the good intestinal flora with supplements acidophilous and yogurts but that actually made things way worst! Honestly, it's a bad idea to do that until AFTER you do a candida diet to kill off the yeast over growth first THEN build up the good flora again afterwards. Aloe juice, and anti fungal and adaptogen herbs are Key!
Aloe, echinacea help kill the yeast by boosting microphages and white blood cells, thyme, rosemary, garlic & orageno are great anti fungals, a reishi tincture is a good normalizing adaptogen go to your local health food store and look for antiviral/adaptogen tinctures. Avoid processed sugars & empty carbs like processed white flours & crackers like the plague right now, as they just feed the yeast. If you're constipated hibiscus tea is a very gentle laxative + be sure to boost your fiber intake! sweet potatoes are excellent for that (boil them & eat the skins too!), fresh ginger root, peppermint & fennel are fast acting and good for quickly relieving trapped gas nausea and cramping. have some in a tea or room temperature water after meals to signifigantly reduce symptoms. Also, turmeric & black pepper in soups work really nicely together to relieve inflammation in the gut as well and will help you have healthier bowel movements.
Hope you feel Better soon!!!
I empathize soOoo much.
