Hello,
I have a question. I am 57, female and I noticed bulging veins in my hands. Is this because of aging? Why else? How can I reduce it?

Hello,
Yes, you are right, this is because of aging. As we get older, the skin and tissue that is lying under becomes thinner. This is the most common reason for bulging veins. I completely understand your stand, I am in the same position. When I asked this my doctor, he smiled at me and said: maybe you could gain some weight, maybe they would be less visible. This was a joke, of course.

this happens to me too, but I'm only 15. I have very thin skin, so that is probably why.

Hi, I am 51, have had some cosmetic work done on my face which has left me looking very young for my age and have been googling around to see if there is any resolve for the veins that protrude on my hands and make my hands look very old.

I have just been reading about a doctor Josh Derodra who works in Springfield Capio Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex who has operated (removed some of the veins) from a number of woman who hated the way their hands looked. the cost was £1,800.
The woman all seemed to be very happy with the results some saying that is reminded them of their hands 20 years ago.

I am going to take a look at the website now and the phone number says 01245 234000

I let you know what I decide about this.
