I have been having this burning feeling in my chest and my back. I have seen a gastro and even went for an upper GI. Nothing was found except possibly gastritis from medications I had to take for walking pneumonia which effected my asthma pretty bad. He told me to take Nexium, one a day, but nothing seems to be working, if anything, I feel the same. I am worried of course thinking the absolute worse.

I have noticed your post, as well as I have noticed that you have written this one year ago. I would like to know did you find solution to your problem. My sister is suffering from asthma as well, and last month she got pneumonia. She was in bed for about three weeks and after that she is still complaining about breathing problems. I would like to know how can I help her. I have feeling that our doctor is not doing everything he should, because most of the time he is saying that asthma is incurable and that she simply needs to take care of herself.
