For the last several months, I have had two distinct reactions around the time of ovulation. I am 48. First is that my urine is very strong and burns the vagina. I have been treated for a UTI, which wasn't the cause. It does not burn to urinate; the urine is strong and causes a diaper rash type sympton. Using A&D ointment as a barrier helps, but doesn't stop the problem. This has happened every month for the last 5 months, around the time of ovulation, and last 3 days.

2nd sympton is that I get a pain in my hip. I am working with a Physical Therapist (after consulting with my GP and and Orthopedist). This pain also starts around the time of ovulation. The PT feels that there may be some pressure in my back that is releasing a hormorne telling my body to "adjust" due to the pressure. The pain comes from the misalignment my body goes into to adjust to the pressure.

Given that both have happened religiously for the last 5 -6 months and at the time of ovulation, could this be some type of hormonal imbalance? What is the best doctor to see to discuss this problem?
