That is fine if you cannot straighten your legs out, especially if you issues with your back or knees. You can just modify your movement with the video. I know I have attended exercise classes or had a video that may have had a difficult technique. I just modified the exercise to suit me and over a course of time, I could eventually do the exercise as the video or class taught it. It takes time to get to a certain point, but the fact that you are attempting it is great! Just keep at it and eventually you will get there!
