I have had several calcium deposits removed from on my actual eye one just a few days ago and man when they pop out it's like having a piece of sand in your eye that you can not get out. But my eye doctor took it out with a small needle and it felt so much better. I have a few more but they haven't broke out yet so when they do I just have to keep going back...

I am girl last 2 year i am suffering from it now i am married then i am very embarassed about this ,always i am see in my face in mirror then i am crying please sir help me i amused a 'melback or, melgain' on my eyelids i am from India but now i am in newzealand after marriage I always have at least one or two white spots on my eyelids, and this is annoying thing. They hurt me, but people do stare at them, so I was thinking if there is any way to get rid of those. They eventually fall off and reappear in other places, which I found strange. I have been told they are calcium deposits, but I cannot believe this. Can you tell me if it is possible to have calcium deposits on eyes or eyelids, as people keep telling me?

I have several little white fluid filled bumps on my eyelids and under my eyes. They don't hurt. But they bother me, as I get older they seem to multiply. What can I do to rid myself of these ugly things???

Just read a post from 3 years ago re constant irritation from calcium deposits on the eye. I suffer this problem all the time. Did you ever find a successful solution.? I am due to have surgery next week to remove these deposits. I hope this will reduce the drops I need 7 or 8 times daily. Please let me know if you are aware of any other solution. :'( Does anyone know if this surgery is successful?

I have been having very similar problems regarding eye irritation; sty's, pimples (whatever the heck they are..). I noticed this when I moved from a place where there is very little water treatment (Alaska) to a harsh, hard-water treated area (Washington).
My shower head has a lot of mineral build-up. I'm assuming, calcium.. Also, I'm thinking, maybe the concentrated calcium on the shower-head is the root of the problem?
I'm buying a filter for my shower to see if that resolves the painful irritation & nasty little bumps on my eyelids.

I read about putting garlic on calcium deposits and it works - hold a raw slice of garlic on the spot for 2 minutes three days in a row

and the spot gets smaller and goes away.  Not for inside the eye, but the one patch that is above my eyelid has dissolved this way

It does return - but at least it goes away for awhile.  Seems like if garlic works someone would come up with a cream that could work

better.  But never have seen one.  Cosmetic Companies please take note.

Please have your thyroid checked. Thyroid problems are often associated with eyelid calcium deposits.

I think I have something similar.  They are tiny white hard bumps.  I have been taking oil olive and coconut oil and one is completely gone and the other one has become smaller.  I have a dermatologist appointment in December and am thinking that i might not have anything to show them when I go.

Hi,

This build up on the edge of the eye lid is essentially little tiny crystals.  I had styes occuring on a regular basis and essentially the tear duct gets blocked and can't lubricate.

You need to see an ophthalmologist who is an eye specialist.  Mine just gave me a local anesthetic made a small incision on the edge of the eyelid and removed the Crystal like rocks with a tiny pair of tweezers.  All done in the space of about 3 minutes.

Hope this helps.

Removal vs quick with a high frequency machine such as a lamprobe or skinclassic. I remove them all the time for clients.

I have them on my eyelids under my right eye and another one coming in on my forehead I searched YouTube and found a video on how to remove them yourself tho it was not recommended I did it anyway the first time was in 2012. tonight I attacked the one below my eye to the right side and wss very unsuccessful and am already paying for it it is very swollen and it hurts. The one I did in 2012 was much more successful and never came back. I don't know what you do now about the deposit that I screwed up on tonight I hope I wake up tomorrow and its ok but with my luck I doubt it
