Can it cause a desease?

From what I've read it seems to not be in your best interest to let it collect on your genitals but there is a strong debate whether its composition allows bacteria to grow. It seems as though this a personal decision. It can be cleaned most safely with soap and water to avoid creating any further problems. The probability that it would cause a disease is low if you keep the area clean. STD's are not produced from this substance.
