hi, i have never used methadone or any drugs of any kind, but my ex used to.
He used to take 90mls a day for heroin abuse in his past.He was on it for 7 years.
We were trying for a child, as i was healthy and have never used drugs.
i have never got pregnant in the 3 years we were together, and i was wondering does methadone get into sperm?could it have got into my system through unprotected sex?.
because i know it gets into the bones and muscles and blood of the taker.
i don't want it in my system, but are wondering if it could have got there?

Is it possible to ingest methadone by swallowing his semen load? He's tapering down but currently uses 75 every day.

No, it is not possible to get methadone through semen because semen is not filtered through any other part of the body. It would potentially be in trace amounts of his urine, but that's it. Does that help?
