I have the mírena and 4 months after I started looking a change in my face, I started breaking out. First it started with a pimple and after days passed stared getting worse. Pimples seems to cecome coming out with pus and looking more like cyst. I have try different acne treatments and nothing works, my last option will be removing my IUD.

Hello, I’ve had the Mirena in for almost 3 years. I’ve had night sweats after a 1 year of insertion. I feel like they progressively have got in worse. I typically experience them 3-4 days before my period ans last about 3 nights. I was wondering if you still experience the night sweats?

Wow! I'm so glad I found this post! Every doctor I've gone to dismisses my issues and basically tells me I'm crazy! I can't stop sweating ever! Even in 30 degree weather I'm sweating! It's caused insane face and body acne! I've had never ending bacterial infections from the slightest things. A small cut on my finger. Instantly infected and inflamed. I've been off the mirena for about 3 years and just started to get my period again! I took vitex for 2 days and instantly got my period and it has been pretty regular since. I haven't taken vitex since. The acne and sweating have slightly improved but are still relentless. I'm literally in tears writing this because I finally found something that proves it's not just me and I'm not crazy! Please, I'd anyone knows how to fix this please help me!

I had mine removed 3 years ago and the sweating has gotten slightly better but it's still drenching my clothes. If I find a solution I'll let you know. Please do the same if you find a solution. Best of luck!
