My son had surgery on his nose about 6 months ago. His plastic surgeon said that it looked like his scar was trying to keloid. He told me to buy vitamin E pills and rub the oil out of the pill on the scar every night for 5 minutes before he goes to bed and wash face good in the morning. It works and you have to do it on a daily basis. He has skip days at a time and I could tell the difference. As long as he keeps putting it on there does not appear to keloid. They do sell vitamin E oill but I actually bought a pill Wasfor like 4 dollars at Walgreens.

I had surgery to remove a cyst on my chest a year ago and developed a keloid. This was the second keloid I've formed and my surgeon  told me that I could get a steroid shot or have it cut off (which could actually make another keloid form). So I opted not to do either.

While in Ulta, I came across this product called "ScarAway." It's a silicone sheet that you put over the keloid. It wasn't expensive so I got it. The directions say its a 12 week treatment and I'm only on day 9, but I seriously can tell a difference already. You can see my before and after pictures on my beauty blog, just google "Purging Pretty Beauty Blog." I don't want this site to think I'm spam so I didn't put the link. But I am tracking my progress on there.

Hope this helps :-)

I had one when i had gotten my nose pierced, & i used asprin! You crush it up & put a little bit of water in it... What your doing is making it into a paste. Put it on your keloid & leave it there for a while! Untill it hardens, or longer. It wont harm you. Then use warm water to wash it off

Mederma. It's just that simple. Constantly and aggressively rub in the mederma over the keloid. It'll diminish quickly. I've done it twice.

I had a keloid on the back of my ear after getting a piercing and I used an aspirin paste, but instead of water, I used lemon juice and it was gone in about 2 weeks. Unfortunately, I now have one on the front of the piercing so am trying it again. Best of luck!

I've cut my also about 5-7 years ago... Still hasn't grown bk. When you do deside to cut one make sure it's healed. Like when you grab it you can't feel it... No pain n no pressure.... Have peroxide and a lot of napkins bc it bleeds a lot and for a while. Never scared after neither :)
