Hello, I guess you were lucky. I have a Keloid next to my piercing on my ear, I had it removed about 6 months ago and it's back. I went to my doctor and he prescribed steroid tape, I just started using it and will be monitoring the growth of the keloid. Everyone's body isn't the same and most Keloids when removed, grows back.

hi i was reading your post i know i now you posted this over a year ago i have a keloid on my industrial for a little more then a year now i wanted to know was you ever able to get rid of it ???

emu oil works sooo well. I have one on the back of my ear, it used to be pretty big but now you can hardly see it! Ask your piercer for it

You can go to a dermatologist and he/she will give you 3 options removal by incision, monthly injections, or with a laser but I would not consider the laser although it is very effective it is dangerous, it could cause cancer down the road now injections will take away the keliod depending on the size it will also return the color of it now cutting it off there is 50/50 chance on it coming back but if it does come back it will most likely come back bigger but you can go back to the dermatologist to get injections for preventing its return now the decision is up to you I DO NOT drecommend doing the laser treatment due to its side effects so whatever you do is all up to you I'm just telling what options you have.

I would recommend against this course of action. Keloids grow due to trauma to the skin. Surgical removal will likely prompt more keloids to grow.

Where did you go? I had mines removed to & it came back in a few months bigger. I was told if the root not removed too it will grow back. I need to go where u went

I want to get my ear pierced again but through the keloid, my mom has the gun tool for piercing ear lobes and I want to get my 4th hole but it has a small keloid but I want to pierce it... any advice? Will I get an infection?

yes but you should for about 6 months to a year im in the process of getting my removed but professionally im doing injections they work better that way and its a less percent of them coming back then getting them cut off

Ima order some scar away right now ive been haveing keloids since I was in 6grade im 8 now but its pretty embarassing to be the only person with keliods around
