i was with my boyfriend at the time now hes my x but we had sex twice with in 4 days and i don't think he knew that condoms can expire and i think they were so i was wondering can i get pregnant from an expired condom?
If the condom did not rip or tear, you are probably safe from pregnancy, however, if the condom is past the expiration date, it is NO LONGER safe to use. Expired condoms have a tendancy to rip and tear easily and frequently, therefore they are not effective as a form of birth control.
Also, an expired condom reduces the protection against sexually tranmitted infections.

Hello smil3baby,
As bbfeet9 already explained, even though condoms are physical barrier which prevents pregnancy, when they’re past their due date, their efficiency is greatly reduced. Not only because this due date means that lubricant and/ or spermicide on condoms expired, which means bigger risk of irritation or sexually transmitted disease, but also means the bigger risk for pregnancy.
The main reason for this is that condoms tend to rip, even if this isn’t visible at the first sight, so the sperm still does manage to reach the fertile egg. But, it’s not absolutely necessary that you will get pregnant from an expired condom – it also depends on your fertility and the time of the month when you had sex.
