My eyes are already red and I am worried about making it worse or doing something dangerous. I honestly don't belive it will do any harm but if any of you have a medical background or experience in the subject of cannabis after eye surgery please let me know.

I asked my surgeon this very question before he performed strabismus surgery on me six weeks ago; I was nervous about asking but I felt that I had to know what the risks were. He told me that regular use after surgery could potentially increase the amount of scarring during recovery, but he also suggested that I shouldn't worry about it. I'll be having my post-op follow-up visit with him this week ... there is still redness and swelling where the incisions were made in each eyeball, although most of the bleeding has steadily dissipated and my eyes are not nearly as bloodshot as they were in the two weeks following surgery. I abstained from use during the first week after the surgery, but resumed regular use (once every 1-2 days) after that. Please note that this is neither an endorsement or disparagement of that decision, I have no idea exactly what the impact on my recovery has been.
