So I'm 13 and have noticed recently that part of my foreskin is attacked to the tip of my penis, on the underside, by a of string-like skin. When I try to pull back my foreskin I can't pull it all the way as it is attached with the skin. It doesn't hurt or anything but I have looked it up and it doesn't seem that uncommon. I just wanna confirm what I have. Will I have it forever, will it cause any problems?

Hi Guest,

It's NORMAL for you to not be able to pull your foreskin back until age 16 or so.

As you get older it "separates" from the glans, like what you're seeing.

Don't force it, it can scar.  Just let it separate naturally.

Hope it helps.

You'll outgrow it in time.
