I do suggest everyone read 'Taking Charge of Your Fertility' (on amazon for $12, also google the title and you'll find the website and free tracking charts to print out) it answers so many of these questions youa are all asking and teaches you how to chart your fertility. It's really not difficult or akward to do, it just consists of paying attention to your cervical mucus (which you all seem to do), taking your temp with a basal thermometer (which will tell you when you ovulate) and checking the position of your cervix (which I don't yet do).
My hubs and I are trying to concieve, and what I'm trying to figure out is how much a role stress really does play on my ovulation time...I may be late? But this is my first month tracking on this chart, so between temp. taking and cervical fluid, I'm just checking around to see what other people experience. I messed up my temp for the past few days and I think my fluid has changed, but I'm not sure. So we'll see.

My husband and I have been trying for a year now to conceive and we gave up around Christmas due to so many disappointments ...now I have not had my period since 19th feb and I have taken tests and they are negative ..my cervix is high and hard and has white string mucous ,and my boobs are getting larger and have brown marks all round the nipples like age spots old people get ...I am trying to not think about it ...but I just want to know either way

I don't have a normal cycle I usually only have my period 3 maybe 4 times a year, and I do get the "Egg White" clear Mucus almost every month. Could I still be Ovulating without my period and what are the chances of me being able to get pregnant?

Hmm...I've experienced the same symptoms and found that I was not pregnant. The book, No Pill No Risk Birth Control, has great info about not getting pregnant and getting pregnant. I wish I still had my copy!

hey ladies, i'm new to this site but you all give such good advice and have so many similar stories as i do, so i figured i'd ask a few things... i'm on my first cycle of Clomid, 50MG. my last dose of it was 2-17-10 and to expect ovulation 8-10 days prior to taking it, well for the past week now i've been getting really bad cramping, so bad to the point it hurts to walk. i check my cervix everyday and it feels somewhat firm but slightly open, and after i'm done i notice i had some creamy/watery discharge from touching it. could it be that i'm ovulating or is that discharge an early sign of pregnancy? if so, thats the only symptom i have so far. i'm not due for AF until march 9th so i've got another week and a half. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What you're noticing is probably normal leukorrhea — the odorless or mild-smelling milky discharge that you occasionally noticed in your underwear before you were pregnant. There's just a lot more of it now, partly because of increased estrogen production and greater blood flow to the vaginal area. This discharge is made up of secretions from the cervix and vagina, old cells from the walls of the vagina, and normal bacterial flora from the vagina.

Hi just thought I'd let you know that your CM becomes slippery & stretchy when you ovulate to assist the sperm to get to the freshly released egg that is in your fallopian tube, the egg(ovum) doesn't implant into your uterus unless it has been fertilized. Everyone has different pregnancy symptoms & your breasts don't necessarily get sore to touch, I never knew I was pregnant for 8 weeks as I had no symptoms at all.

When I became preggo with my first baby I had thick white creamy discharge. At times it would feel like there was so much I thought I had started my period so I was always going to the rroom to check myself. I don't recall noticing it before before missing my period but I did have it. Hoped this answer helped in some way.

Hi I just Ovulated this past sat its the first time we started ttc. I woke up with a sinus headache so I took a antihistamin and a ibprofen. Then I though what if it messes with ovulation so I looked it up on the internet and it said that the antihistamin dries the cm and the ibprofen accually delays ovulation!!!! I was freaking out. the reason it said it delayed ovulation was because it lowers the progesterone your body produces. My sister uses the progesterone cream so I quickly rubed some on my abdomen. Then I thought maybe I shouldn't have done that so again I looked it up on the internet and again it said the progesterone makes your body think your pregnant and you won't ovulate to take after you know you have ovulated for sure. OMG I cried but about mid afternoon I got the ovulation pains on my right side and it lasted quite a while it was intense. We bd'ed on thurs. Not friday because we're doing the every other day thing. Since I had a headache and was in pain from ov pains we didn't bd on sat. but on sun I had another ovulation pain but this time on my right side and it was as inteses as the pain the day before. We did bd on sat. What are my chances that I concieved??? I have been very bloated and been having back pain also I have been having what looks like fertile cm but it's a lil cloudy not clear and also wet then creamy cm. Any answers will be appreciated.
