Hi, asthma is chronic respiratory illness  leads to successive episodes on exposure to triggering factor . Pollen grain exposure, pollution even certain food may predispose respiratory problems. Smoking cessation will improve the lung health. I like to suggest you certain investigation such as X-ray, CT scan to find out any other abnormalities related to lung. Avoid exposure to triggering factor will reduce your infection.
