If anyone could help, I'd be grateful.
Whenever I get a cold or flu virus, I quite often get pains in my chest. They always:
*Begin in the sternum
*Spread to the collar
*Hurt when I breathe deeply
*throb when I lie down
*last between 1 and 2 weeks
I do not have any fever, and my chest is not tender to the touch, or even a violent push. X rays show nothing, and various doctors have listened to my chest and concluded that it is completely clear. I have no other symptoms, so I feel otherwise well. I get this problem whether or not my cold or flu includes a cough.
Thus far the only thing I have been able to do is take painkillers and hope it goes away.
Does anyone have any ideas?
