So I have been having a case of chronic swollen tonsils and what feel like slightly swollen nodes directly above where you would check your pulse on your neck and below the jaw. They don't really bother me too much but I can see them in the mirror when I look at my throat. Sometimes I have a very dull pain of sore throat but it's usually minor and goes away quickly. I just want to make sure it's nothing else that's causing this annoyance. Probably been there for a few years now. Every few months i'll see one or maybe 2 small white spots but they usually go away on their own ina few days.

I did have mono a few years ago, and ended up passing it to my girlfriend. She then had chronic swollen tonsils but was getting strep throat over and over with it and in a ton of pain from soar throat, had her tonsils start blocking her airway, and could hardly talk so they removed them and she's been fine ever since. I just wonder if I should look into getting mine removed or just not worry about it unless they really cause me problems.
