Hi. I`ve been reading about AIDS. Is it true circumcised men cannot be infected at all? I am considering circumcision. Anybody?
Hi. No man. Circumcised men can become infected, just like everybody else. However, I have read adult circumcision reduces the risk of HIV by half. Circumcision can significantly lower the HIV risk. Results of some study showed the risk of transmission was reduced by more than 50% among circumcised subjects. If you are considering circumcision, you should know that medical circumcision is safe and very effective. It reduces the risk, but circumcised men can become infected with HIV, and they can infect the others. So far, condoms are the only prevention you have.
Hi. Sorry, I was wondering...How can circumcision reduce the risk? HIV and AIDS is contracted through exchange of bodily fluids during sex or HIV positive blood somehow getting into your bloodstream. So cutting the foreskin
of the penis couldn't possible change anything.
