I am having a similar problem. I have a clear somewhat white mucus. I have been tested recently and everything was negative. I have the Meraina IUD and my periods have been regains for a while now. I'm five days late on my period, but I had a little spotting on the first day my period was due. I'm hoping my period just decided to take a vacation and I am not pregnant. I chose this method of birth control because it was highly effective. Can someone please ease my mind and give me ideas of what else it could possibly be. By the way I am still experiencing slight cramping like I normally do when my period comes on.
Im 14 and been having this same thing (clear-white thick discharge) and I don't know what it is. It started a little before I started my period a year ago. Before it wasn't as thick, but now it is and the amount has increased significantly. I read that it just means Im just ovulating but it it seems to happen like all the time. Im not sexually active. Im not sure if this is normal or not.
Sounds like trych. My sister had the same symptoms you described. Burning sensation after sex, doesnt smell bad or good, etc. She went to the Health Dept. & they caught it. Its curable with antibiotics. Just dont let anybody do your laundry, as they may touch that area and then rub it accidentally on themselves. My sister was 20, I think, when she got it. Practice safer sex.

I'm glad I know what it is now! I have this 'discharge' which stains my underwear and it is extremely annoying. What does it mean if I have never had my period and I have never had sex?
That is exactly the same as me. There is no chance of pregnancy, AT ALL. It keeps happening at random times too. Plus I am not nearing my period, so I have no idea what it is. Finding it in my underwear constantly and expecially when I wipe there is loads. I thought I was the only one. Obviously not, which makes me feel a little less worried about it!

You should be careful this was happening to me and it suddenly stopped for like 3 months and just this past month I thought it was starting again till it came back with a vengeance... I was diagnosed with pelvic inflamatory disease with an unknown cause. They did viral and bacterial cultures and nothing showed up. But when they gave me the round of antibiotics it made me start my period a week and a half early. And it was super heavy more so than usual. I read up on it and it can be bc I had an ectopic failed pregnancy. And it sat there and festered. Continuing to my Big "ovarian cyst" on my ultra sounds.

I recently started to have similar symptoms & I agree with you is not because of my ovaries or fertility cycles. I recently started to drink alkaline water & everytime I drink it I experience this vaginal discharge. It's sticky, clear and sometimes causes irritation. Its not a yeast infection. I don't have vd. I, too, don't know what it is. And I'm concerned if it's harmful.
