OKay im a heavy set 21 yr old female and I've never had a regular period but just recently in the past 2 months i've been spotting and clotting. No pain just its been going on for about 2 months now and its quite annoying...my mother thought maybe i was pregnant but when i took the test it said i wasnt...is there something seriously wrong with me or is it something minor?

Just giving you my opinion but could this be a hormonal imbalance of some sort. And mixed messages are getting to the ovaries. Have you ever had a test with the doctor and your blood sent off.
I am having problems at the moment and my period is every 6 days with spotting every other day. Thats the first thing they did was send off my blood for levels of estrogen and prosteogne etc. Because you said you havent had a regular period then that shows something is certainly not right. Stress can play a factor in its impact on periods.
I can honestly say if you feel that this is something seriously wrong for you.. i.e the sudden apprearance of spotting and clotting then get it sorted. Dont risk your reproductive health. I have been ignoring mine and I think its something really that cannot be ignored.
Do you get bad PMT or PMS? Do you get bad ache? Are you trying for a baby?
