To everyone,
I have been on Zoloft for a little over 2 years now. I had a Dr. put me on this medicine during an extremely hard time in my life. While Zoloft can help you initially....it is NOT a good med to continue on.
This is a very addictive A.D and I have found that most people stay on Zoloft for their entire lives. Long term use of this medicine can actually backfire and have a negative affect on your well being.
I did find it helpful when I first started and as time went on (I know I speak for others as well) things got worse. During my second year on Zoloft I began to become more irritable and I never slept as well. Not to mention that if I missed a dose it would be complete hell.
It all comes down to this....no human being should be this dependant on a drug. Currently I am experiencing some major withdrawals in my efforts to rid myself of this addiction. I am on day 4 and I have extreme brain shivers, headaches, tiredness, waves of intense emotion and nausea. I plan to keep everyone posted on my improvements.
Hope all of this helps.
Remember God never intended for us to be so chained and held down to such a drug. We can’t go through our whole lives dependant on anything but ourselves.
Much love,
Xoxoxo

Okay....I have made it to DAY SEVEN!
The nausea has become worse in days 5 and 6....but here is why!
My brain shivers have become less like hard jolts or shocks and have become a lot milder. During days five and six I felt the brain shivers more in my arms and face rather than my head. They are still there but they feel more like a steady buzz in my head...hence the increased nausea.
Another symptom is my MOOD! I have had the crying spells like everyone else but I have also become really impatient and angry! Luckily the closest to me are aware of what I am going through. I suggest you tell people that you're around what you are doing...more support!
I am going to try and go jogging this morning.
One thing is for sure! Symptoms get worse without sleep! Make sure you are getting plenty of rest during this time.
I'll keep you posted,
Much love

Hi there - just wondered how you are, a half a year or so on from your last entry. I' m about to go through a withdrawal process and would be interested to get your view point!

Thanks for your post, I was only on this for 4days and got sick and was up all night, taking it at bedtime.
I stopped on the 5th night and woke up shaking with small tremors, shivers. This medicine shouldn't be on the market with so many problems! It was prescribed by my doctor, I didn't realize it was that bad for you!

Zoloft is the devil. I was an opiate addict for over three years and my psychiatrist prescribed me Zoloft as part of my recovery process. Basically took me off of one thing and replaced it with another. The withdrawal from Zoloft was worse than any opiate withdrawal that I had ever experienced. Omega 3s and magnesium did help the brain tremors a little but 2 month withdrawal is nearly impossible. With opiates it only lasts 4 days.
Is it ok to take CBD when coming off of Zoloft?
