Okay, so I've been on depo for over a year now. I had a period with the first injection but since then I haven't had a period. About three months ago I began taking bupropion, an antidepressant, alongside my depo shots. A month ago my boyfriend and I slept together in which we did not use a condom. Two weeks later I started bleeding but it has been extremely light and it changes from brown blood to red blood with a lot of clotting. it's lasted two weeks so far and is showing no sign of stopping. Again, it is very light. I have felt very fatigued in the last month and every once in a while I have really bad cramps (which I never have even cramped before, not even off depo) and bad lower back pain. I have headaches that come and go and am still having mood swings (happy to sad to mad or however) in spite of the bupropion. today I purchased a home pregnancy test and it showed negative, but I'm just not convinced. I'm wondering if maybe I did have a miscarriage and my hCG levels are now too low to give me a positive pregnancy test because it would have been a very early miscarriage. or is this just a normal thing on depo? please help!
